Storm Boswick (full name: Sean Morgan Storm Boswick) is a seasoned managing director and portfolio manager specializing in asset management. A highly experienced venture capitalist, investor, and strategic advisor, he has an extensive list of accomplishments in the public and private equity and public and private debt sectors. 

Storm is also a very experienced Governance professional, having served as a Director on multiple public and private company boards, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors at UCLA Space Institute, sitting on their Technical Committee and their Finance Committee.

Storm’s lengthy professional career spans over 30 years, taking him from his native Canada to the US, UK, Israel, France, the Netherlands, and the Caribbean. Storm has been a subject matter expert contributor to CNBC, Bloomberg, CNNfn, the Financial Times, The Wall St. Journal, Barron’s, Crain’s, and other financial programming and press for many years. Apart from being an authority in global finance and investment, he is also a lecturer, conference presenter/panelist, philanthropist, and published author.

Storm Boswick attended Ridley College in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, from 1984 to 1987. He also attended Choate Rosemary Hall as a transfer student in 1986.

From 1987 to 1991, Storm attended the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, where he earned an MA Honours degree in Economic History and International Relations. He was also the secretary and then president of the International Politics Association, a member of the varsity golf team, and eventually became the team’s vice-captain.

Storm also conducted research studies for his Master’s Dissertation at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London. 

Storm’s storied professional career began in 1994 when he joined Goldman Sachs in New York as a financial analyst in the company’s investment research division.

In 1996, he became a portfolio manager and eventually the youngest partner in the history of J&W Seligman, remaining with the New York-based firm for six years. While at Seligman, Storm was responsible for global Tech, Media, and Telecom investment positions worth tens of billions of dollars across several industry-leading portfolios.
